This really is a very, very cool piece of rutilated quartz! The quartz measures approximately 20.00mm x 14.70mm...the quartz is colorless and has dark (black/or very dark brown?) rutile running through it. As often times happens when faceting and polishing a piece of rutilated quartz some of the rutile needles will not allow for a smooth finish...that is the case with this stone as well (see second photograph). The stone is set in a 1950's 10 karat yellow gold mounting. Ring Size: 6 can be sized Circa: 1950's
All rings come with one free sizing…To size the ring down it is completely free…to size the ring up we will pay for the first size, and you will pay the balance. The good news though, is that we will only charge you what our jeweler charges us…another words it will be much less expensive.

Each ring purchased from us includes one complimentary sizing. Please understand some rings cannot be sized, such as eternity bands, enameled rings or rings that would have to be sized so much that the integrity of the mounting would be compromised. It is for that reason we ask prior to purchase, that you ask if the ring can be sized to your specifications.
